Product information "Buddha Nut"

The Buddha nut is the fruit of the tree species Pterygota alata, which belongs to the subfamily of the sterculia or stink tree family. Its distribution extends from India to the Philippines. The nuts are very decorative. The shells are not as hard and stable as those of the coconut, so the nut shell should not be constantly housed in humid terrariums. However, as a decorative element on the windowsill, even planted, it can last for many years.
