Synonyms:

Anthurium bullatus hort.

Etymology:

panduri = formed like a lute
laminus
= shed, plates, shield

Propagation: divisions
Origin: Ecuador
Habitat:

hemiepiphytic in warm humid tropical forest at low elevations along the Pacific Andes.

Notes:

Anthurium pandurilaminum with its arrowhead-shaped leaves was found by Croat, Mansell, Hannon & Owen at the end of the 20th century in Ecuador in a very wet area (pers. comm. Tom Croat: Swampy Area), but it was described quite some years later.
The species captivates by its elongated, clearly veined leaves, which "emerge" light green with a very delicate structure, in age they become much harder and dark green.
