Propagation: seed
Origin: Papua NewGuinea
Habitat:

epiphytic on mossy trees, lithophytic on mossy rocks by streams or terrestrial on the east side of rocks, in leaf litter and among small plants in very sunny areas, at elevations from 750-3500m.

Notes:

Dendrobium cuthbertsonii is a very variable colored flowering miniature orchid, the color spectrum ranges from white to yellow, orange to red, even bicolor flowers are common. They grow rather cool, but can feel comfortable at temperatures up to 25°C. Very good water quality is important, preferably rainwater, and they are very sensitive to pesticides of all kinds.
