The Orchi-Pot pot was developed in cooperation with the gardeners of the Jena Botanical Garden. It is now used in many other botanical gardens. Its purpose is the long-term water supply of epiphytically growing plants. The pots are slightly tapered from the bottom to the top to prevent the mounted plants from slipping off. For the same reason, the outer wall of the orchi-pot is finely structured, which at the same time increases the contact surface between the watering pot and the root system.
Three holes (Ø 8mm) under the top edge allow mounting of hangers.
- Material: stoneware clay, white or red, porous fired (water permeable)
- Finish: hand-made (Therefore, minimal dimensional deviations are unavoidable and do not represent a quality defect or reason for complaint).
For hanging we recommend the three-armed stainless steel hangers
