| Etymology: | ruckeri = Sigismund RUCKER, English orchid enthusiast (c. 1809-1875). He had a large orchid collection at West Hill, his home in Wandsworth. Rucker grew orchids for over 40 years and from 1844 also had a collection of trees, shrubs, ericas and azaleas. |
