Etymology:

peguanum = until 1989 Pegu, thereafter Bagu. The Pegu Range (Burmese: ပဲခူးရိုးမ; Pegu Yoma or Bago Yoma) is a range of low mountains or hills and uplands between the Irrawaddy and the Sittaung River in central Myanmar.

Habitat:

lithophyte or epiphyte found on secondary shrub vegatation near streams in hot and humid areas at elevations around 300 to 400 meter

Notes:

Dendrobium peguanum is a smallish Dendrobium that can flower several times a year if grown well. The pseudobulbs resprout terminal and lateral frequently. For flowering just keep a little cooler, but much drier.
