Habitat: | epiphytic on mossy trunks in the Andes in the districts of Antioquia, Risaralda and Cauca, Colombia and in northwestern Ecuador in cloud forest at altitudes from 1600 to 2100m. |
Notes: | The flowers of Dracula radiosa are about 5 x 15cm, the inflorescences arise erect or horizontal, rarely pendulous. The inflorescence stems grow up to 20cm long, and bear a terminal flower. |
