| Notes: | Despite crossing with the tall Phragmipedium lindleyanum, Phragmipedium Andean Fire remains very compact in growth. The colour intensity is also surprising, it seems to be by far the most intense red coloured hybrid. The growth habit is very compact and resembles neither Phragmipedium besseae nor lindleyanum. Not only because of the colour, also because of the small space requirement a great Phragmipedium hybrid. |
