Etymology:

chimaera = The name Chimaera is derived from a hybrid creature of Greek mythology. The chimaera is a fire-snorting monster, lion in front, goat in the middle, dragon in the back, which was killed by Bellerophon. In a figurative sense, chimera also stands for a figment of the imagination, an absurdity or a fantasy.
