Etymology:	floribundus = easy, rich flowering
Propagation:	division
Origin:	Belize, Mexico to Costa Rica and the Caribbean
Habitat:	epiphytic in moss on branches of smaller treesat elevations of 400 to 1500 meters in damp forests
Notes:	Miniature orchid, nearly flowering size. Perfect for moist terrariums with shady places. Masdevallia best watered with rainwater, and fertilize only very little and carefully. Masdevallia floribunda var. galeottiana does not seem to be validly described, differs from the normal form by the lighter flowers.
