Habitat: | hemiepiphytic climber in tropical rainforests, in sparse forests on both sides of the Andes and in the Amazon basin in semi-shaded areas with high humidity from sea level to 2000 m. |
Notes: | The young leaves have a distinct, attractive green-grey pattern, which decreases with age, very stable, distinct leaf veins then form on the underside of the leaf, giving stability to the large leaves. |
