Etymology:

cornu-cervi = refers to the antler-like flattened rachis of the inflorescence

Propagation: seed
Origin: India, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Nicobar Islands, Malaysia, Java, Borneo, Sumatra, and the Philippines
Habitat:

epiphytic in exposed lowland locations on stunted vegetation, in fairly exposed areas or in dense riverine or lowland forests with heavy dews high up in the canopy at elevations of 200 to 1000 meters

Notes:

do not cut the inflorescence stems, they take a break in the winter, produce new flowers in the spring. The plants can stand a little cooler f dry, but really feel comfortable only at temperatures above 20 ° C.
