Notes: | National flower of Venezuela, blooms there (always) at Easter. Cattleya mossiae belongs to the unifoliate (single-leaved) Cattleya, its flower is one of the largest of the natural forms. The variety of colours is similar to all other unifoliate Cattleya, the nominal form is light pink with an accentuated lip, but dark pink types with a clearly defined lip or blue-rounded forms can also be found, albeit rarely. |
