Habitat: | epiphytic, occasionally lithophytic at elevations from 1300 to 2000 meters in full sun near rivers. |
Notes: | Flower coloration and size is very dependent on the culture. If the plants are found at very high altitude with strong UV radiation, the growth is much more compact, if the nights are cool, the flowers become larger than average and very colorful. The 2-4 flowers emit a delicate fragrance that is sometimes perceived as musty. Flower size is 10-15cm. |
