Product information "Anthurium regale cf."
Name: Anthurium regale cf., Linden 1866
Synonyms:

unknown

Etymology:

regalis = royal, grand, magnificent

Propagation: divisions
Origin: Peru
Habitat:

Anthurium regale was found by Gustave Wallis in Peru on the banks of the Marañón, one of the two great headwaters of the Amazon.

Notes:

The epithet regale (belonging to a king) exists for this species undoubtedly rightly. The velvety leaves with the wonderful drawing need no further description, the foliage speaks for itself. There are numerous, wonderful rarities of this species, it is difficult to decide, the best is to collect them all.
Anthurium regale cf. differs from the nominal form by much finer veining and somewhat smaller leaves, but in growth habit it is identical. The appendage cf. stands for confer (compare) because this species shows strong similarity to Anthurium regale, but also enough differences that it is very likely a new species.
