Etymology: | villenaorum = The species is named in honor of Janette Karol Villena Bendez and her husband Bruno Villena, owners of Orchideas Amazonicas in Moyabamba Peru who first introduced this species into cultivation in Moyobama. |

Habitat: | Anthurium villenaorum was found in the region around Moyobamba, located between the Pacific and Eastern Andes, at an altitude of about 800-1000m. The region has a subtropical climate with a heavy rainy season from December to March. |
Notes: | Anthurium villenaorum has distinctly colored veining in its dark green, velvety leaves, which gives it a very striking and attractive appearance. It appears to be very vigorous, and is certainly an asset to any aroid collection. |

Amazing anthurium! Don't miss it!!
This plant not only appears to be amazing and no stress when it comes to cultivation, but ships very well, it didn't take a hit despite 3 days in the mail and trips with me in my luggage. Absolutely recommended for anthurium lovers.
