Anthurium magnificum LINDEN was found by Braam, collector for Linden, in the Eastern Cordillera. Linden showed the foliage plant in 1865 at the exhibition in Amsterdam, where it achieved great attention:
"Our accompanying plate cannot reproduce the beauty of these excellent plants, for once the leaves attain a diameter of 1.5 - 2 feet, and then the olive-green surface with white markings along the veins, possesses that peculiar beautiful metallic luster which no brush can reproduce.".(translated from Gartenflora Vol. 15).
Please pay attention to the pictures, you can clearly see how different the leaf coloration can be on the same plants at the same time.
