Notes:

Although Louis Forget primarily sought and collected orchids, he was nevertheless interested in other attractive foliage plants, and managed to send them to England in viable condition. Anthurium forgetii was such an attractive foliage plant that Nicholas Edward Brown (* July 11, 1849 in Redhill, Surrey; † November 25, 1934 in Kew, London), whose specialty was actually succulent plants, described it in 1905 and named it in honor of the discoverer.
Anthurium forgetii differs from the other multicolored anthuriums by the closed, round shape of the leaves.
