Habitat: | hemiepiphytic or epiphytic in tropical rainforest and tropical moist forest at altitudes from sea level to 1700m, most plants are found at about 700m altitude.... In Nicaragua it occurs only on the Atlantic slope, whereas in Costa Rica and Panama it occurs on both sides. |
Notes: | Attractive species with stubby, leathery foliage, young leaves are oval, with age the leaves become more rounded. |
