Habitat: | widespread, from the Pacific to the Atlantic coast, also inland, mostly epiphytic, at altitudes from 25 to 1400m in premontane wet forest. |
Notes: | Anthurium pentaphyllum is a very robust, easy-to-cultivate arum. As this species grows strongly climbing, a moss (coconut) stick can be given as support. With its 5 to multiple pinnate leaves, it is clearly different from the other anthuriums. |
