Philodendron selloum 'Red Sun'?

Which hybrid is hidden behind Philodendron 'Red Sun' is not known at present. Occasionally this plant is offered as Philodendron selloum 'Red Sun', this species name is very probably not correct. We suspect that it is a hybrid with Philodendron erubescens. Hopefully the future will show more details.
The leaves of this species are very variable in colour, fresh foliage is mostly yellow-orange, later turning dark red, then dark green. This constant change increases the attractiveness of Philodendron 'Red Sun' enormously, as the plant constantly changes its appearance, also depending on the light.
