Habitat: | hemiepiphytic on trees in dense, warm, moist tropical forest at elevations of 100-250m. There are records of localities on the eastern slopes of the Andes, where Philodendron panduriflorme is found at altitudes up to 700m. |
Notes: | Philodendron panduriforme has a very unusual and interesting leaf shape, trilobate with truncated lateral lobes, which in some ways resembles a medieval musical instrument. |
